Castings for pony truck
Machining the frame. Both sides of the frame
should be parallel.
Holes for shaft bush is drilled and reamed.
Wheel castings are partly machined, drilled
and reamed. If the boss is out of center
in casting, you had better start with the
independent chuck to center the boss.
Mandrel to cut wheels exactly to the same
profile. Note a side pin catches the spokes and
avoids the wheel slipping in the mandrel.
To cut a large fillet between flange and
tread, the tool was inched from point to
point. Many small steps in the fillet can
be removed using a round file.
